L’appel à propositions portant l’identifiant H2020-MSCA-RISE-2017 du programme A.M.S.C. du pilier Excellence Scientifique d’Horizon 2020 est ouvert depuis le 1er décembre 2016, avec un budget de 80 millions d’euros.

Cet instrument vise à encourager des collaborations internationales et intersectorielles à travers des échanges de personnel de recherche et innovation, ainsi que le partage de savoirs et d’idées de la recherche vers le marché (et vice-versa) pour l’avancement de la science et le développement de l’innovation
Les projets sont déposés par l’institution pressentie pour assumer la coordination du projet, avec un consortium de bénéficiaires et d’organisations partenaires
Les principales caractéristiques d’un projet RISE sont :

Le projet doit être centré sur un programme conjoint de recherche et d’innovation (de la recherche au marché) entre les bénéficiaires/partenaires du projet

Les bénéficiaires peuvent appartenir au monde académique ou non académique (en particulier les PMEs).

Les partenaires peuvent appartenir au monde académique ou non académique et venir de pays tiers.

Les personnels impliqués dans le programme de mobilité peuvent être des doctorants, des chercheurs expérimentés mais aussi des personnels administratifs ou techniques impliqués dans le programme de recherche et d’innovation.

Une personne peut être détachée pour une période allant de 1 mois à 12 mois. Cependant la durée totale du détachement ne peut pas excéder 12 mois et se prolonger au-delà de la durée contractuelle du projet.

La date de clôture de l’appel est fixée au 05 avril 2017

The RISE scheme promotes international and inter-sector collaboration through research and innovation staff exchanges, and through sharing of knowledge and ideas from research to market (and vice-versa).

This action is meant for organisations such as universities, research centres or companies – that propose a short term exchange to their staff. Proposals should include at least three partners, which can be universities, research institutions, or non-academic organisations. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are encouraged to participate.

Partner organisations should be from three different countries. At least two of these should be from the. Partners from elsewhere in the world can also join. If the exchange happens between the it must be intersectoral. In worldwide partnerships, exchanges within the same sector are possible.

Partners get together and propose a joint project. Proposals should highlight networking opportunities, sharing of knowledge and the skills development of staff members.

Research staff of any nationality and any career level(postgraduates to experienced researchers) can undertake a secondment. Staff members working in managerial, technical or administrative roles can also be seconded.

 The grant supports the secondment of staff members for one month to one year. They must be engaged in or linked to research and innovation activities for at least six months prior to the secondment. They return to the sending organisation after the secondment, to pass on their knowledge.

Funding for a RISE project can last up to four years.
